Supervisor of the Quarter

Sergeant James Smith, Patrol Shift Supervisor, has been chosen as Supervisor of the Quarter.

Employee of the Month

Clay Teed of Public Works has been selected as Employee of the Month.

Firefighter of the Year

Firefighter of the Year - 2009

Firefighter Ben McWaters started with the Lynn Haven Fire & Emergency Services in June 2006. Firefighter McWaters had the highest call responses of all his fellow workers for the year 2008. He has obtained his Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) since he has been employed with the City and is currently working on his Fire Science Degree.





"Spring Shine" Arts & Craft Show

We are having the 1st Annual "Spring Shine" Arts & Craft Show, Saturday, March 18 form 9:00 until 3:00 P.M. Spaces are still available ($35.00 per 12 x 12 space) for vendors not needing electric. March is a great time to enjoy our beautiful facility. Please call 850-271-5547 for more information. The deadline to participate is March 3, 2010.

SUPER Fun Day!!!

Bring the entire family to "SUPER FUN DAY" Saturday, March 13th, 8:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M. at the Lynn Haven Sports Complex. Exhibition games from our Spring Rec. League will be held all day. Enjoy carnival games, a cake walk and face painting! The "Opening Day Ceremony" will be at noon on field #5 with the Mosley JROTC and choir in attendance.


CRA Economic Environment and Market Analysis

The Lynn Haven CRA is soliciting proposals to conduct and deliver an Economic Environment and Market Analysis for the Lynn Haven CRA.  A copy of the RFP can be reviewed Here.  Feel free to contact the CRA Director at (850) 265-2961 if you have any further questions. 


2nd Annual Lynn Haven Community Yard

This sale will be on Saturday, March 13, 8:00 A.M. until noon at the Lynn Haven Sports Complex. This "yard sale" is a great opportunity to clear the excess items from your home and raise money for a great cause! Reserve your 12 x 12 space for a $10.00 donation. (Make checks payable to: American Cancer Society.) This will benefit the Lynn Haven Relay for Life/American Cancer Society! You get to keep the proceeds from the sale of your items. Any unsold items will be picked up by Goodwill Industries. Please call 850-271-5547 for more information. The deadline to participate is March 5, 2010.

Event will be held at the Lynn Haven Sports Complex behind the Gym (2201 Recreation Drive).

Code Enforcement Board Opening

There is currently one opening on the Lynn Haven Code Enforcement Board that the City is accepting applications for.

If you are interested in any boards you can complete the application and submit it to City Hall where it will be retained and reviewed as openings occur.


FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps

The new Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Flood Insurance Rate Maps for the City were adopted by the City Commission in June, 2009.
