CITY OF LYNN HAVEN
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
DECEMBER 20, 2007
A regular meeting of the Lynn Haven Board of Adjustment was held on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at 5:30 p.m. in the City Commission meeting room.
Present:
Charles Kelly, Vice Chairperson
Ken Dewitt
Meredith Kamprath
Neil Jones
Marion L. Cook, City Planner
Absent: Brian Leebrick, Chairperson
Mr. Charles Kelly, Acting Chairperson, called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.
Ms. Meredith Kamprath made a motion to approve the Minutes from the November 15, 2007 meeting.
Second to motion: Ken Dewitt

Kelly: aye
Jones: aye
Motion passed 4-0
#3. DANIEL AND BRANDI JONES VARIANCE: Mr. Daniel Jones addressed the Board and stated that he wishes to construct a residence at 317 Marsh Island Drive in The Meadows and wants to save an oak tree that is located in the front yard. He is asking for a variance of 5 feet off of the front setback in order to save the tree. He stated that some of his neighbors have gotten similar variances in the past in order to save trees on their property. Board member, Jones, noted that Mr. Jones had received approval for the variance from The Meadows Homeowners’ Association.
Mr. Jones made a motion to approve the variance.

Motion passed 4-0
Ms. Meredith Kamprath made a motion to excuse Board member Brian Leebrick from the meeting.

With there being no further business or discussion, the meeting was adjourned at 5:39 p.m.
