NOTICE

TO CONTRACTORS AND SUBCONTRACTORS:

We would like to take this opportunity to clarify the following Building Department issues:

1. Master permit numbers and addresses will be required at the time an inspection is called in to the Building Department;
2. Inspections that are called in after 8:00 a.m. are normally done the following day. However, if time permits, the inspection may be performed on the same day it is called in.
3. If subs must purchase multiple permits, please call at least one (1) hour ahead to allow time for the preparation of the permits.
4. In order to avoid reinspection fees being assessed, be sure that all proper plans and permits are posted on site, i.e. building plans, truss layout, Notice of Commencement and termite treatment certification.

New Building Permit Applications and checklists are now in use and are available from the Building Department upon request, or you may print the forms from this website.
