The City of Lynn Haven prefers to tailor our economic development incentives to individual circumstances and projects.  The proposed location for the project, the proposed building architecture, financial gap, etc., may determine such things as building permit fee waivers, tax abatements, modified utility rates, and other economic development incentives. Prospective companies may also qualify for a number of business incentives offered by Bay County and the State of Florida. The City of Lynn Haven also provides fire protection service over approximately 10 square miles in Bay County. The Lynn Haven Fire Department takes pride in achieving an Insurance Services Office (ISO) rating of 2 for our community.

Lynn Haven, Florida is located on State Highways 77 and 390 in the heart of Northwest Florida. These highways provide convenient access to the interstate system (Interstate-10) in our area.  The City is a component of the Greater Panama City Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).  This area is well-known for its' 27 miles of the world’s most beautiful sugary-white sand beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico but is now growing more popular as a place to do business, ranked as the number 1 area for economic growth potential in the United States.
